COACH BRIAN PIPER'S WEEKLY TRAINING TIPS AND SCHEDULES
CONGRATULATIONS MARATHONERS!
Congratulations Marathoners! You were all awesome! Unfortunately it
was another hot day for the Chicago Marathoners again. Most of you
made it back and felt great afterwards. Some had a harder time with it. I
think by now you might think that training for a marathon is one great
experience and hopefully you all had a great experience running with
your I-Run training group this year! I know many of you built some great
relationships on your training runs.

THANK YOU FOR BEING A HUGE PART OF I-RUN’S TRAINING
PROGRAM
Thank you so much for choosing the I-Run training program. We hope
you enjoyed your experience with us. Thank you to the site-coordinators
that volunteered and put so much time of their lives to make sure you
had a great experience! Thank you to the group leaders that helped take
you through your experience with their great knowledge and wisdom! A
huge thank you to those volunteers that had to put out the Gatorade for
you each weekend after weekend! This training program took a lot of
coordination through all of these volunteers. Please take a moment to
thank them for their hard work! This training program could not have
happened without their love of the sport and their dedication to you!

the following time and locations:

WHAT IS YOUR NEXT RUNNING GOAL?
Now is the time to start thinking of your next running goal to keep you
from getting the post-marathon blues! Start looking through the running
calendars and make a plan to target a race. Think about training for a
race in the southern part of the country to get away from the cold winter
in Chicago! Your training group will continue to run together through the
winter months. Some of them are already making plans for a great winter
get-away race. Join in the fun of training with them and running a great
race in the southern part of our country!
